Winter is getting close!
I want to remind my readers that the nasty, awful, horrible, the “S” word (snow) can hit really early. I just love winter. (NOT) Back in 1991 on Halloween there was a terrible blizzard in Minnesota. In the Duluth area there was 36 inches of the white stuff. I lived toward the northern middle of Minnesota very near Leech Lake. Many areas were without electricity for several days. I have been in ice storms; even right here in South Dakota where it is almost tropical. (I can dream) That early winter blizzard taught me something very important. Winter preparedness; be ready, sometimes earlier than you could imagine. Here is an article to help you get ready for winter. There are several helpful suggestions for the heat of summer as well.
