Exotic Pets

April 18 2012 Exotic Pets Newsletter

I think I may have found the ultimate exotic pet. I am smitten. It is NOT a guinea pig even though it is called a cavy. It is a good-sized animal up to 2 1/2 feet tall. I never heard of this sweet natured little critter before. I found it on my own exotic pet's search. Someone searched for it with of course zero results. Not anymore the Patagonian Cavy article is there!

Patagonian Cavy
The Patagonian Cavy is probably one of the sweetest most gentle of pets you will find. The cavy is a highly social animal and are not a pet for a person that must be gone much of the time. Exotic pet Patagonian Cavies can be trained to use the litter box, leash trained, and more.

Pet tips.

Hot weather is on its way please remember not to leave your pets in a hot car. Even with the windows cracked it is extremely hot. If you see a pet stuck in a hot car, please do something about it!!!

Tips not pet related. I discovered something wonderful. I hate to hurt or kill animals or insects or anything. I had a mouse problem, just one mouse. I finally sprinkle cayenne pepper where the little fellow was entering the kitchen.

He stopped coming in the house, then I got overrun by ants. The cayenne pepper didn't work. I found that ground clove keeps ants away. If you sprinkle some in front of one, they turn around and head the other way. I sprinkle ground clove lightly anywhere I think they will get in. The only problem is, when friends or family arrive they think I am baking!!
