Exotic Pets

May 23 2012 Exotic Pets Newsletter

I want to give you an update. Pretty soon, you may notice that everything coming from me goes on automatic pilot for a while. I'll give you a warning first. My surgeon had me get 6 MRI's and also EMG's. He is bound and determined to find out what is causing the nerve destruction in my back and legs. Evidently it is the scoliosis getting worst and the curves are sitting on the nerve roots. I have to face and come to grips that I am going to have to chance some pretty severe surgery very soon. All the chemo has let my bones very, not sure of the right word- soft? I am having the first panic attacks of my lifetime. It really upsets me especially the fact that my employer lowered my medical insurance to 30/70. Thanks for letting me vent.

Here's the latest article from the Exotic Pets site at BellaOnline.com.

Rodents - Pet Rodent
Rodents make very interesting pets and are very intelligent, so why not a pet rodent. Consider pet mice, pet gerbils, pet chinchillas, pet rats, pet guinea pigs, Patagonian cavies, or a Pygmy Jerboa as a pet. Rodents are wonderful exotic pets. This article is part of Choose a Pet series.

Pet Tips

Don't forget the green eyed monster can attack animals just as it can humans. When you get a new pet it is so easy to make the existing pets feel jealous.
Give them lots of attention; let them know that you love them. Give them time to adjust. It hurts feeling slighted! Make sure you supervise the new and existing pet. We don't want them to fight or injure each other.

Have you had a chance to check out the Kindle Fire as far as I am concerned it makes the IPad look pale in comparison, especially considering price. It is so much cheaper to download books and magazines. I go through a lot of books, what I don't find in the library I download. There is a lot of library books you can download now too! Check it out :) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051VVOB2?ie=UTF8&tag=exoticpets-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=B0051VVOB2
