Do you actually use your living room? In Feng Shui, the living room is considered the best place to relax and spend time with friends, but all too often we arrange a beautiful living room but never use it. That's why my latest article on the BellaOnline Feng Shui site is all about how you can turn your living room into a home sanctuary, and one of the most used and best loved rooms in your home. You can read the article at http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art171026.asp.
One important Feng Shui tip for your living room is to make sure your sofa is placed in the power position, which is facing the main entrance but not directly across from it. Guests naturally choose seats in this position because they feel protected when they can see who is entering the room. If you must locate your sofa with the back to the entrance, place a table behind it and display plants and a lamp on it to act as a screen.
After you read the article, share your thoughts about how you use your living room on the Feng Shui Forum, located at http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=70.
And as always, you can also contact me directly if you have Feng Shui questions or topics you would like to see me cover in future articles and newsletters.
