Florida State Fish - Sailfish and Largemouth Bass
Florida has two official state fish: one each for saltwater and freshwater. The saltwater state fish is the sailfish, Istiophorus platypterus. The freshwater state fish is the Florida largemouth bass, Micropterus salmoides floridanus.
