Happy New Year to all folks near and far.

I apologize that your newsletter is late this week. There was a little glitch in the newsletter scheduler.

Our winter in Washoe Valley is rather mild this year. We had some snow that is still hanging around in the valley. Up in the Sierra Mountains there has been more snowfall, but still not as much as usual -- enough for those who love to ski, though.

Have you made any New Year resolutions? I have not really made any resolutions that are new. My on-going goal is to keep writing and hopefully get my book published, which I keep putting off. Maybe I should make that my resolution for this year.
