Greetings to all folks near and far.
I thought spring was all settled in here, but we have had some pretty cold and overcast days. It has snowed several times over the last week, not enough to stick around, though. The wind coming down off the snowy Sierras is really cold and makes us bundle up when going out.
Did you know that ancient Egyptian civilization was the most spectacular on Earth and continued longer than any other? The study of the gods and goddesses the ancients believed in is a fascinating study, yet is very complex.

Amun - Egyptian God
Amun had many aspects in his role as a deity. At first he was an earthly god, in human form, yet invisible. His name, Amun, meant "Hidden One", for he represented the essential and hidden.
