Greetings to all folks near and far.
Here is my latest article from the Folklore and Mythology site at BellaOnline.com. Continuing the story of Ogier the Dane.
Ogier The Dane - Pledge To Charlemagne
Charlemagne received an urgent call from Pope Leo IV. This is where Ogier came into his own and saved the life of his lord and master, Charlemagne, and gave a pledge to the Emperor.

This has been one of my most exciting research project. Ogier the Dane is quite an interesting character, blessed by the Fae Women at birth who gave him superior gifts of valor and bravery. Charlemagne was a real person, the Holy Roman Emperor -- yet there are many medieval romance legends about him that were born of fact and actual battles. Fascinating stuff!
There will be at least one more article I will write about Ogier, for his legends are many.
I hope you join me in my Folklore and Mythology forum to discuss this and my other articles. I look forward to meeting you.
Till next time, may you make legends in your life. May you walk in peace and harmony.
Phyllis
