Greetings to all folks near and far. The end of summer is coming up too fast for me. I have so enjoyed the nice evenings sitting out in the yard and watching the hummingbirds scurry back and forth for their last sweet taste of nectar before settling down for the night.
Harvest time is near. Some of you may already have harvested a lot of vegetables from your gardens. All those good foods will make a wonderful stew or soup. Baked squash, green beans with bacon and onions, sweet corn on the cob will be gracing someone's table.
We are having an end of summer family gathering and BBQ this weekend and there will be lots of fresh produce and other treats sitting out for us to enjoy. Good times, good friends, good foods!
