June 16 2007 Hiking & Backpacking Newsletter
There's been a change here at BellaOnline.com and I've taken over as the Hiking and Backpacking Editor. My name is Megan and I've been a hiker for over 30 years. Sounds a bit like an AA or similar pledge - but then I am addicted to the outdoors!
I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge, both old and new, with all my readers. Check this newsletter (to be sent every two weeks) for recent articles, hiking and backpacking trivia and useful tidbits, answers to reader's questions and anything else that comes our way as we travel this trail together.
So, keeping with that promise, here's the latest article from the Hiking & Backpacking site at BellaOnline.com.
Trekking through Takakkaw Territory
A little effort, a lot view – that about sums up the hiking opportunities in Yoho National Park, one of the gems found in Canada’s Rocky Mountains.
Tip of the day: Keep a copy of your day hiking and backpacking checklists on your computer's word program for easy editing and printing and you'll never leave anything at home again!

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. Please get back to me if you a particular subject you'd like more information on, have a hiking/backpacking book you'd like reviewed, or just want to say hi!
And feel free to pass this message along to family and friends who love the outdoors as much as we do!
