October 19 2009 Horses Newsletter

Boo! Its that time of year when the air is chilled, the pumpkins have been transformed into all sorts of scary creatures and the horses are feeling frisky. The clear sky, full moon and fields full of drying corn ellicit strong feelings of being watched each night when I walk the dogs down the lane at dusk - twinkling eyes surround us - on one side the looming woods and the other the endless stalks of corn. The horses watch, super alert, with ears pricked forward on heads held high - their snorts echo in the fading light.

Horses have been part of many scary stories and movies - come have a little fun and see how your horses might participate in the Halloween spirit this year.
