March 29 2012 Indian Culture Newsletter

Greetings!

With spring break coming up, I am sure many of you will be looking for travel options. Why not take up a jungle expedition in India this time? The Western Ghats is India’s renowned mountain range and also home to several species of flora and fauna. A short drive from the historical town of Srivilliputur, Tamil Nadu takes us to the Grizzled Squirrel Wildlife Sanctuary. This is home to the giant tree squirrel, red squirrel and flying squirrel.

Check out more on the sanctuary, details on getting there and tips to make your trip meaningful in this week’s update that spans across two articles. Have fun and if you do decide to make it along this jungle trail, don’t forget to share your experiences!
