Happy Holi and Happy Women’s Day!

Indians have donned their festive hats again! The cold wave of winter is no more and it’s time to welcome spring by celebrating Holi – The Indian Festival of Colors today. Learn more about the bright hues of this Indian Festival in this week’s update

March 8th is also International Women’s Day and celebration of womanhood is gaining popularity in India too. Ironically women in India still battle for their rights and remain slaves to a male dominated society. International Women’s Day in India is shaping up to be a day of celebration for the few women who have been fortunate enough to break the age old barriers.
