Removing Lead from Your Body
Once lead gets into your body, it accumulates there for years and years, causing all sorts of serious trouble for your nervous system and brain. Even small amounts every week can add up to a lot by the time you're an adult! Did you know chocolate has lead in it?
It always surprises me when people watch multiple hours of TV every day and think it's normal or even "less than average". So I'm curious, how many hours of TV do people watch each day?
From Time Magazine - "As obesity rates continue to rise in the U.S., so might our acceptance of those who are overweight. But a new study from Yale University suggests the converse trend: rather than feeling tolerance in our society, the overweight and obese say they feel more heavily discriminated against now than they did a decade ago."
What do you think - is it getting worse? Or are we more aware of it and less likely to tolerate it?
