I wrote my very first article as Editor of the Married No Kids site at BellaOnline in June 2003. Since that time, I have written many, many articles about being child free. I have covered every aspect of this lifestyle, including birth control options, dealing with friends who are pregnant, nurturing your relationship with your significant other, finding friends and partners who don’t want kids, and everything in between!

Recently, I have decided that it is time for me to move on from Married No Kids. I have enjoyed being your voice for over five years. But it is time for me to close this chapter in my life.

Soon, the site will be taken over by a new editor. For a limited time, my ebook Musings on Life Without Children will still be available:

The ebook is a selection of my favorite articles from my years as Married No Kids Editor. When a new editor comes in, he/she will begin deleting and replacing my articles.

I know that I have helped many of you over the years realize that you are not alone in your decision to remain child free. My goal has always been to provide a positive place where you could find camaraderie and comfort in your lifestyle choice. There have been some nasty emails over the years, but the praise and thank yous have always outnumbered the naysayers.

As I bid you farewell, always remember that your life is yours to live, and that your decisions are yours to make.
