During the holiday season, I get caught up in wanting to give ‘things’ to my children (and, at the same time, cringe at spending money on those ‘things’). While I try to give useful things (like warm cozy slipper socks), I also try to focus the holidays away from the gifts and toward family time, strengthening our family’s values and traditions, and putting good into the world.
