July 6 2006 Pediatrics Newsletter

Greetings! I hope you and your family enjoyed the 4th of July weekend.
With summer camps and everyone on vacation, I'm going to keep the newsletters fairly brief over the summer and beef them up more during the school year. In the meantime, the pediatrics site has new information on finding a pediatrician and what a pediatrician does:

Finding a Pediatrician
Tips and ideas for finding a pediatrician at any point in your child's life.

The forum is starting to get active and I'm enjoying swapping ideas from the parents and editors who have stopped by. Our latest discussion is on ear infections:

Week in Review:
This has been a busy newsweek that highlights important summer hazards as well as new immunization developments. You can find all the details on my blog.

I use the blog to keep everyone informed on breaking parenting and childhealth news as well as to post answers to questions I get from readers.

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!

Feel free to pass this newsletter to your family and friends to help them stay in the know on the latest developments in the parenting and child health worlds.

Have a fun week.
