October 9 2008 Polish Culture Newsletter
Dear Friends, Polish Culture Site Readers,
Thursday is a wonderful day, during which we already start thinking about the forthcoming weekend. To make it easier for you to read the Newsletter and recommended articles during your free time, I officially announce Thursday as a day when the Newsletter is being sent out. I hope that inspired by gained information you will spend at last part of the weekend on getting more knowledge on Polish Culture or trying out some recipes. Let us all enjoy what we learn!
Todays article is devoted to Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Although there is a conviction that Krakow and Warsaw citizens compete with each other (and I am real Cracovian:) I feel a lot of sympathy towards Polish capital. Its history proves braveness of simple people who decided to defend their freedom and space for living. Get to know what made Warsaw the city that it is now.
Warsaw, history and modernity in one
Warsaw can easily compete with other European capital cities. Modern and developed Polish capital provides its citizens good standard of living. In Warsaw, however, one can still feel the past that shaped its history and architecture.
To those who want to read more about Polish Culture, try out traditional recipes or just spend their time on something enjoyable, I recommend checking polishculture.bellaonline.com where you can find previously published articles.
