Happy Thanksgiving to All of You!!!
Although not all of us might celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday, I am sure that many spend this time with their family and friends. As every joyful holiday, no matter where it derives from, brings happy moments, I would like to wish all of us more of these days when we devote our time to those that we love and care for. I personally spared one turkey by waiting only for Christmas when the Polish carp swims in my bath :)
As this period is very often time of joy but also contemplation, I decided to tell you about one of my favourite films, the Decalogue by Krzysztof Kieslowski. It is not an easy piece and one needs to open the mind to reach the message behind ten histories of Poles living in former decade. But still it is worth to see the Decalogue to understand or discuss possible meaning of the Ten Commandments. I hope you will have a lot of pleasure with reading the new article featured on BellaOnline:
The Decalogue, a film review
Krzysztof Kieslowski is one of the most acclaimed Polis directors. It was the Decalogue (series of films corresponding with the Ten Commandments) that brought him international success and recognition.
