2018 Tatting Topics
Hello Tatters!

I am planning ahead for the year. These are the tatting topics which seem to be the most requested by tatters online. But times are changing and I want to be up to date on tatting trends.
So please help me out by letting me know of any different or new topics you would like to see covered here in the tatting website of BellaOnline.com. Thanks.

Meanwhile, have you ever used these tips?

Eliminate a set of tails to hide, by using the continuous thread method of preparing the shuttles.

Or use the split ring/chain or bridging method to climb from one row to the next without cutting the thread.

If tatting with two shuttles and one of them begins to run out of thread, do the simple overhand knot, the shoe lace trick. Just like tying your shoes. The shuttle with more thread is repositioned to the opposite side. Then continue on to tat.

If both shuttles are wound with the same color this works easily. Two colors usually means adding on a new thread.

But, there are ways to minimize the tails needing to be hidden. Bundle several tails and "wrap" not tat the thread over them when making a chain.
