An Eye on Vision Issues:
Volume one Issue five
January 29 – February – 4
Special Edition – February: Low Vision Awareness day

February is low vision awareness month and day:

All over the country organizations are celebrating low vision awareness. Check with a local blind services support group, organization or state department of rehabilitations/blind services for the day of the month chosen to celebrate low vision awareness day in your area. Normally, a seminar or one day conference is offered with guest speakers, vendors and special group’s sign-ups. Also, most agencies include door prizes and drawings. Find out what’s happening in your area and get involved.

Coping with vision issues:

Coping with a vision issue is a challenge for the person with vision loss and everyone connected to the person. Learn more about how to overcome vision loss by reading the new article posted in the vision issues site. The article addresses two topics. First a discussion about coping with a vision issue and second a group that has designed a site concerning all aspects of vision. I found the site very informative. Take a moment and read over the article and let me know what you think. Thanks.
