Volume 5 Issue 3 – Week of May 20th to 26th

Hello, Everyone.
My niece and nephew are so happy. My niece finished another semester of college and my nephew has two days until he becomes a junior in high school. Do you know someone or are you completing high school or earning a degree? Tell us about them on the thread titled “Graduated” you will find in the Vision Issues Forum. I would love to read about your and their success! Thanks!

This Weeks Article:

I researched the top causes of vision loss concerning women. A great reference site is the Women’s Eye Health Organization website.

A second article is coming on Wednesday – “What should you do when you see a blind person?” I am starting a series of articles on life as a visually impaired/blind person, any input or suggestions for articles is appreciated.

**Entertainment Note: If you enjoy National Geographic shows visit YouTube and listen to the narrated version of “First Contact” on the Narrated Television Network – a site designed for the visually impaired/blind that contains a variety of narrated shows/movies. First Contact is a documentary about a tribe native to the Brazilian Rain Forest – very entertaining human-interest documentary.

Coming Next Week:

Women’s Eye Health: Statistics, Prevention and Safety.

Until next week – Have a great week!
Dean.
