An Eye on Vision Issues!

Volume 8: Issue 1 – Week of August 5th to August 11th.

Hello, Everyone,
Week one of the Olympics was great. My favorite day so far was Saturday when the Blade Runner – Oscar Pistorius from South Africa finished second in his first heat. Although, he is not expected to win a medal he did make Olympic history by being the first double amputee to run in the Olympic Games. What an inspiration!

**Important Note:
Oscar has an older brother Carl and when he would go outside his mother would tell him to put on his shoes and then tell Oscar to put on his legs and if his brother climbed a tree then Oscar, you climb the tree also. Makes you wonder if the mother had an idea Oscar would do something great!
