Greetings Work and Family Members,

Holidays can be stressful and expensive. My advice is to get an early start on your holiday shopping to lessen the stress and take some time to make a $$ saving plan before you rush out of the door with credit card in hand. Our article this week is:

*Smart Holiday Shopping Within the Family Budget*
Have you started your holiday shopping? I know somewhat who actually starts the day after Christmas. If this is not you, and you are just now starting to think about gift buying, and the strain it puts on your family budget, decide right now to become a smart shopper and stay within your budget.

*A Lighter Moment* A thrifty widow wanted the town’s most venerable minister to perform the eulogy for her husband. The minister said that he would be delighted to deliver a rousing eulogy that would enshrine her dearly departed to all who heard his word--for $500. The widow thought for a moment and asked the minister if he could do the eulogy for less. The minister replied that he could do a rather nice piece on her husband that would bring the audience to tears and keep her husband in their hearts for years to come--for $250. The widow thought about this for a moment and asked the minister if he could do the eulogy for $75. The minister said that he would be happy to do the eulogy, “but for that price, I will be forced to tell the truth about your husband.” Oh my L
