Classy Fred Blassie
This Article is a mini biography of Classy Fred Blassie, one of the best in the wrestling game for the better part of fifty years.

Here is what is happening in the news:

Former WCW wrestler Chase Tatum was found dead at his home this past Sunday of an apparent overdose of painkillers. He was recuperating from an operation to repair a degenerative disk in his back. He was found by a friend in Buckhead, Georgia at around 4 PM. He was apparently unresponsive and could be resuscitated.

In big news that could affect professional wrestling in Georgia now, the Georgia State Senate bill 413 passed through the Regulated Industries Committee and is now waiting to be reviewed by the Rules Committee before going to the floor to be voted on by the senate. If the bill is passed by the senate then their will be stricter regulations for wrestling companies to wrestle in Georgia.

Basically they are: Companies like TNA with between 25 – 50 wrestlers will have to pay an annual fee of $250.00. The WWE , whom employs more than 50 wrestlers will have to pay $500.00 annually.

They will require a list of wrestlers who “plan to cut themselves and the post match report will require a list of wrestlers who actually participated in the card, wrestlers who bled and wrestlers who needed medical attention. There are a bunch of other requirements as well. You can read more about it here: http://www.broc.state.ga.us/legis/2007_08/fulltext/sb413.htm
then scroll down to Sec. 43-4B-20.6.

Ashley will be replacing Candice Michelle as Maria’s tag team partner at Wrestlemania since Candice is still out from re-aggravating her shoulder injury in the Bunnymania Match.

TNA is looking at NYC, Chicago or Toronto for their next Bound For Glory Pay-per-view.

That is all I can give you now for news. See you at the matches.
