Hey Gang, Sorry this newsletter may be a bit outdated by now, but some stuff has happened and I was on vacation driving through the very beautiful Alleghany Mountains in Pennsylvania and through the Poconos, Catskills and Adirondack Mountains in New York.
If you ever get the chance, then drive I-80 from Ohio into Pennsylvania and then up I-81 and I-88 to New York.

Anyway, to the news...

It is with great sadness that I have to report the demise of the Dewey "Missing Link" Roberts who gained fame in the 80's in the World Class Championship Wrestling Organization. Roberts lost his battle with cancer at the age of 68.

At SummerSlam, John Cena retained his title against Randy Orton and Triple H bested King Booker in his return to action and the roof was nearly blown off of the arena as Triple H made his entrance after being gone for the past half year or so. Ray Misterio came back and beat Chavo Guerrero as well in his return after a long absence as well.

In other news... Many of you may have already heard about Nick Hogan (Bollea)was seriously injured in an auto accident when he wrapped his car around a tree while driving at a high rate of speed with an unknown male passenger. Both were airlifted to the hospital and were listed as serious and not critical. I smell a season ending cliff hanger here. I hope you will join me in praying for their speedy recovery.

IWA Mid-South has pulled Samoa Joe and Low-Ki from their September 28 card, "The Tom Petty Invitational". This match has been touted since the Spring and there is no telling how the withdrawing of this match will affect the attendance now. IWA-MS has not given a reason for them pulling this match and is waiting until their show on Aug. 31 to give the reason.

Big Vito has won the IWA Intercontinental title in Puerto Rico on Aug. 18 using his old gangster gimmick. Nice to see he dropped the dress thing.

Well, I will have much more in a couple of days. See you all at the matches.
