It is hard to decide when we are most needed as parents. Is it when they are so small that they cannot survive without us? Is it when they are making their own way in the world and need guidance so as not to make irreversible mistakes? Or it is somewhere in between?

We tell our children to "just be yourself." Do we follow our own advice? Parents are the best examples for children. How can we set the example that mirrors our words.
