For the past 20+ years, my primary job has been that of single mom for two wonderful daughters. I have several "careers" but am not sure what I want to be when I grown up. I am an administrative assistant at a local college, an English/Anthropology student, an aspiring author and poet, head chef, a gardener, a plumber, a researcher, a listener, a healer-in-training, and an accomplished juggler who sometimes drops the ball. Life is never dull.
Having lived most of my life as a single parent, I empathize with the hopes, fears, joys and concerns of single parenting. This is a forum for both the concerns and triumphs of single parents. I want to address topics that are important to you. I want to help you find answers to your questions. Most of all, I want to know what you think about the challenges facing single parents today.
