Staked Citronella candles
The time is approaching for warmer weather, meaning that we´ll be spending more time outdoors. Sun and fun come with some unwanted guests. Aside from using topical bug repellants we can also use candles scented with Citronella.

Making a Decoupage candle
There are many ways to embellish candles, as you may see from my article entitled, "Embellishing Candles." This particular candle making project will deal with the exterior surface of your free standing candles.

How to make a double-molded candle
Making a candle inside a shell of wax, containing embedded objects can add a unique touch to a candle. Using a lighter colored pillar candle for the interior part of this double-molded candle will help light up the outer shell as the candle burns down.

Keeping your candle making molds clean
You´ve just finished your latest candle making project, now it´s time for cleaning up. Everyone enjoys the art of making candles but we all dread the cleanup.

Candle makers wax melting points
Candle wax melting point is the specific temperature at which the wax will changes from solid to liquid. This can be different from your recommended pouring temperature. A lower melting point is great for container candles and a higher melting point for molded candles.

Adding pressed flowers to a candle
Adding pressed flowers to the outside of a plain candle can create an eye catching piece of any room.

Snowflake Candle
The Snowflake candle may have been discovered by mistake, but has become increasingly popular. The mottled appearance adds a unique touch to the look of the candle.

Snowball candles
Winter is rapidly approaching and in some areas it may seem like it has already arrived. Snowball candles can be fun and easy to make and can be enjoyed by the entire family. This project will let you be creative and add a festive tone to your typical winter décor.

Candles for dollars
We will continue with a series of articles concerning candlemaking as a business. Whether you are interested in just making some extra income or turning your hobby into a full time job, the basic principles are the same.

Another candle making business opportunity?
Every candle maker has an opportunity to make additional income especially during the holidays, whether you make candles for pleasure or personal use.
