One of the things I missed most on a low carb diet was good quality chocolate. I was thrilled to see that Lindt had come out with low carb versions of their confections.
Lindt currently has a milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and assortment candy pack that are created in a low carb way. The chocolates use Litesse, a sugar and flour substitute, to give them a great flavor with very low carbs. For example, the dark chocolate bar lets you eat 12 pieces - and there is only 1g of sugar in that amount.
The box-of-chocolates has a nice variety of offerings, from nuts to nougats and pralines. Each serving of 4 pieces has a total of 5g of sugar.
While eating boxes of chocolate shouldn't be a daily part of your diet, it's nice to know that for Valentine's Day, birthdays and other special events that there is a chocolate option that is delicious and low carb!
