Frank I is the first King of Narnia. His wife, Helen, is the first Queen of Narnia. Alsan creates Narnia in C. S. Lewis' The Magician's Newphew. Alsan crowns, Frank I and Helen, the first rulers of Narnia after the creation.
Frank I was a cabby in London, England. He entered the alternative world by mistake. Queen Jadis and Uncle Andrew left London through a time portal. Everything and everyone touching the pair entered the alternate world with them. So, Frank I and his horse, Strawberry made the trip with Queen Jadis and Uncle Andrew.
The alternate world is a black void. Aslan changes the void into Narnia and declares humans the true rulers of Narnia. Since Frank I and Helen are descendants of the original Adam and Eve, Aslan calls Frank I the 'Son of Adam.' and Helen the Daughter of Eve.
Aslan does not forget Strawberry, the cabby's horse. Strawberry, Frank I's horse, becomes Fledge the flying horse. Fledge is the horse which flies Digory Kirke to get a magic apple. When Digory returns to London, he feeds the magic apple to his invalid mother. The apple cures her sickness. A tree grows from the seeds which supplies the wood to make the wardrobe in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
