Any kind of candy bars can be used – the first test pizza used everyone’s least favorite candy bars, and on subsequent tests, family members reserved spaces on the pizzas to put their favorites. Even the pizzas with the least favorite candy bars were yummy, and they were devoured quickly. Just a note on the marshmallows: it is tempting to use the mini-marshmallows rather than cut the larger ones in half, but the minis don’t puff the same and the pizza doesn’t look as good. It’s easy to cut larger ones in half with kitchen scissors – dip them in water if the marshmallows start to stick.
