The good news is that walking has been scientifically proven to reduce the symptoms of PMT. All you have to do is - go for a walk lasting just 30 minutes three times a week.

This is because the physical act of walking actually enhances your circulation and reduces muscle tension.

It helps you feel less tired, less stressed or nervous and happier.

So the next time you are feeling under the weather pick up a drink of water and take a walk.

Walking regularly each week will help to reduce the symptom build up – ideally you would walk briskly for 20 -30 minutes each day.
This brisk walking helps to release endorphins – chemicals that naturally occur in the brain – and they make you feel good and relieve tension.

If you want to feel even happier then go for a walk beside some water – this could be a lake, the ocean, a river or stream or even a waterfall.

Recently scientists have found that by water there are increased levels of negative ions. These negatively charged oxygen atoms also release chemicals in the brain which make you happy. Walking by water gives you a double helping of happiness.
