The afternoon opened with Hazel Raven’s demonstration of sound healing through crystal singing bowls. I have to confess that crystal singing bowls and me don’t get on that well historically, ever since I spent a memorable mind, body, spirit fair some years ago in the presence of a woman who played her crystal bowls almost continuously over the day. Hazel’s explanation that 5-10 minutes of the bowls is often enough for profound healing may explain why my nerves were raw at the end of that fair!
I could see from the demonstrations that Hazel is a sensitive and gifted healer and these bowls did sound lovely even to my ears! I am prepared to be rehabilitated to these healing tools now and can even face listening to my crystal singing bowl audio CD!
Hazel also works with the Angelic realms and is author of the very handy Angel Bible, which is in the same series as Judy Hall's bestselling Crystal Bible. It was good to meet Hazel Raven in person- the publicity shots on her books are moodily beautiful and always gave me the impression she’d be aloof. Don't be deceived, in reality she comes across endearingly and is very approachable.
Sue Lilly brought the first day of the Conference to a close with her presentation on making and using crystal and gem essences. I’ve heard Sue speak on creating vibrational essences at least four times now, it is one of her particular passions as Secretary of BAFEP, the British flower essences producers group; she still has my full attention each time!
Sue is incredibly down to earth and practical in her treatment of energies so subtle yet so powerful that the average person might think them a new age fantasy. These energetic imprints are totally real and very safe, easy and cheap to prepare compared to orthodox drug treatments- but it will take an opening of minds to accept them and drug companies would I suspect fight all the way. If only the scientists and medical profession could be gathered together to hear Sue explain how they work then the light might dawn and we would see revolutionary changes in treatments that could benefit so many, including those who can‘t afford orthodox drug treatment.

Please bear in mind that toxic crystals and water soluble crystals must not be made into essences by this direct method.
Every time I hear Sue speak on essences I am inspired to go out and make more essences myself, she delivers with such energy and clarity on the subject. I am planning my new range as I type!
