Many people are quite aware of black tea. This is the tea product that we commonly find in local grocery stores and major super market chains. Green teas are a favorite of the health conscious individual. So, it is understandable why green teas are popular among the average person to the professional athlete. So, many wonder if the health benefits are true? And how can we all benefit from drinking green tea?
Personally, I enjoy drinking green tea. Especially in the winter time. The subtle tea flavor is very enjoyable and is very good with just a drop of lemon and honey for sweetness. And drinking green tea is very relaxing and soothing. Helps one to unwind at the end of a busy day. And makes you feel like you are actually doing something healthy for your body.
What Is Green Tea
Green tea is produced from the young leaves of certain types of tea plants. Green tea is no stranger to Chinese and other Asian cultures. This highly beneficial and healthy tea is a mainstay in many Asian cupboards. Many Asian's drink this tea with every meal.

Preparing Green Tea
- One green tea bag

Boil the water. Then place the tea bag in the water. Let it sit for four or five minutes. Then strain. Pour the mixture in a cup, sweeten with honey, and add the lemon slice. Researchers found that those who drank two or three cups green tea daily received enormous health related benefits.
It is also interesting to note that the more green tea research participants drank the less likely that they would develop many common diseases like obesity, heart disease, or cancer.
