Monounsaturated Fats

MONOUNSATURED FATS are unsaturated fats with a molecular structure that’s somewhere between saturated and unsaturated fats. They’re found in olives, canola, avocados, nuts, plant membranes and animal fats. An excess of monounsaturated fats can interfere with essential fatty acids (EFA). But, some monounsaturated fatty acids are beneficial, such as those in olive oil.
