There are emails making the rounds daily promisiing that if we all act and work together, we can force oil companies to lower gas prices. Will it work? What if we all skip buying on a certain day? What if we all boycott one oil company? Will it scare the others into lowering their prices?

Today Saudi Arabia said that they will produce more oil but blame futures traders for high oil prices. We hear so much about futures traders. What are oil futures? Do futures traders drive the price of oil up? If we could get rid of them would gas prices drop so you can keep driving your huge SUV?
