Your car is one of your most important posessions. It allows you to be independent and travel or commute as you please. Knowing as much as you possibly can about your car can help to keep you safe while you drive and save you money on maintenance and supplies for it.
Purchasing, owning and maintaining a car can provide a sense of accomplishment and pride not unlike the pride that you might have in your home or wardrobe. To some people working on thier cars is both therapeutic and relaxing. My experiences in life as a mechanic and engineer will allow me to create articles with a technical slant but I will make every effort to make them easy to read and understand. I will also include non-technical articles aimed at selecting, purchasing and driving your car right up to its full potential.
Each week, I’ll have a new article to help you understand more about cars then you ever wanted to. By signing up for my weekly newsletter, you’ll know when new articles are available, and what the topic of the week is. It’s just a quick reminder to check in and lets you know at a glance if it's something which you may or may not be interested in.
To sign up, look to the right of this article. You’ll see a box labeled Free Newsletter. Just type in your email address and you’re in. I promise that you won't be sent to another page to enter a page full of personal information or fill out a questionaire. Your information won’t be sold or shared, and even I won’t know who signed up unless your newsletter bounces and your ISP sends me a bounce notice. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Once you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation notice. This just lets you know if your spam filter is letting us through. If you don’t get one, you’ll want to white list us.
Since I will only write once a week it will take me quite a lot of articles to cover the entire complexity of todays sophisticated cars my weekly newsletters will keep you abreast of my progress.
I have never written a column on cars before so you might notice that my articles and even my newsletters will continue to evolve and change over time as I develop a "style" and a flavor to my writing
So, please sign up and help me to get started!
