I have always found working with figures interesting (very much like solving a puzzle) and therefore it was only natural for me to take it up as a profession. I have handled accounts, banking and commercial matters for several years after my university degree. I am originally from Bombay in India, but have lived in Dubai for the last 22 years and work for a local HVAC company as their Commercial Manager & Management Rep for ISO 9000 standards..
Accounting is a subject that is considered boring and therefore loathed by many, but it is one that can be quite rewarding as a career. If you are contemplating a career in accounts and would like to get a bit of information before you start I would be to glad to give you an overview of the subject infact, I would be glad to share with anyone, the information that I have gathered over the last 22 years of my work .
My family consists of 2 smart and independent daughters, which gives me enough free time to share with you my readers insight into my line of work and life in the young but modern city of Dubai, that I am based in.
