Welcome to the Ice Hockey site. I hope this site will provide you with a place to keep up with the fast paced sport of hockey. Whether a novice or a seasoned veteran, you should find something that will spark your interest. And, what kind of a site would this be without a place to vent your frustrations or gloat over your favourite team or player´s latest achievement? I hope to share topics that will cover minor hockey, high level amateur hockey, and all levels of professional hockey.

Living in Canada, where some would say hockey is bordering on a religion, I have been an avid fan my entire life. I am a writer by profession, so what better way to combine the two themes than by hosting this site? I have also collected (and for some time, sold) hockey cards for as long as I can remember, instilling in me, not only a love for the game, but an appreciation of all the statistics and, of course, the players. I have met, and continue to do so, many of the players, coaches, referees, and broadcasters. I also have family members active in the sport, both playing and coaching at professional levels. All this helps me to learn and form opinions about this great game and make me an expert in the field - even if it may only be self-professed!
