Travel became a passion for me at a very young age when our parents took the family on four-week camping trips all over the U.S. In the years since I have expanded my travels all over the globe, and have spent time on all seven continents. Throughout those travels I have always felt happiest when close to or in the water, with a special focus on islands around the world.
I´ve spent many vacations scuba diving in tropical island paradises. I’ve explored the history of the Ainu culture on Hokkaido, the northernmost of the primary Japanese islands; taken hundreds of pictures of the adorable chinstrap penguins on Deception Island in the Antarctic Peninsula; marveled at the blue and white glory of the Greek island of Santorini…… well, I could go on and on!
So I’m excited to be able to share with you some of the wonders of islands all over the world, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and questions as well.
