Judaism came to me via the happiest of circumstance, my marriage to a wonderful man who happened to be a Holocaust survivor. We might have seemed an unusual couple, he was Russian Jewish - me a Midwestern Protestant. I joyfully embraced the Jewish culture, so to become a Jew by choice came quite naturally for me. People sometimes assume that my conversion was my husband´s idea, but nothing could be further from the truth. The decision was mine and one that I hold dear. It has been a joyful and illuminating process for me, one that I am looking forward to sharing with you.
Some of my interests are Holocaust history, yoga and travel. I am active in the Alzheimer´s Association as a volunteer facilitator of support groups for caregivers.
I look forward to sharing thoughts with readers while learning along the way.
Shalom and Many Blessings!
