I am an orchid hobbyist who loves learning about orchids and helping others become as addicted as I am. It is a fascinating hobby for anyone who enjoys plants, no matter what their level of expertise. I have two children and 4 grandchildren.

My professional life included a number of years in public relations and advertising before working for an integrated oil company as a financial analyst. I am a member of the Houston Orchid Society and the American Orchid Society (AOS). I currently do proofreading and editing for several Internet sites, edit the Houston Orchid Society newsletter and write another newsletter for an online client. I work with the Affiliated Societies Newsletter Editors Committee of the AOS to help editors find good articles for their members.

I would appreciate any comments, suggestions, and/or help that you can provide. I would like to make this a really useful site for orchid lovers at all levels.
