Catherine is a mom, wife, chef, writer and avid reader. Catherine (aka KITTY) loves to read and collect cookbooks. Her culinary interests are lifelong, however she only recently was able to pursue them by attending culinary school at age 40 and working in the commercial culinary industry.

As a personal chef specializing in patients returning home and recuperating from major surgery, Kitty has learned the many ways that people love their sandwiches and how to subtley get them to add to or remove items to promote the health and nutrition of those same, basic sandwiches.

At home, Kitty likes to experiment with new breads, new condiments and all sorts of ingredients with her husband and son. Sitting among her many "old" cookbooks you´ll find her reading on a Sunday afternoon or, perhaps, creating a new article for one of her freelance magazine clients.

Kitty wrote for other Bellaonline topics and stepped away for two years to pursue her culinary love. Now she is very excited to return and begin to share her passion and love for food with all of you!
