For 28 years I was employed in the health care field, however, in 1994 I was forced to stop working due to a chronic illness. I have used my up time writing and speaking out for drug law reform, as well as being very involved with parents in grief.
I married my best friend, in 1994, who is very supportive of my work. We enjoy our pets, shopping for antiques, five grandchildren, and enjoying our dream home. I am blessed with a wonderful family and I have the worlds greatest Mom, a beautiful, talented daughter, terrific in laws, and many fantastic friends.
My passion is to touch as many people as I can, with regard to family issues surrounding adolescent drug use. I hope to begin a dialog with parents who are in the midst of the experience, as well as those who have been through it, to discuss what worked, what didn´t. My goal is to bring you the latest information available, help finding effective treatment, coping skills, a list of reading material, what to expect, and a place to vent your fears and emotions.
The war on drugs has been lost to many; it is my desire to help others find hope and strength to continue the fight.
