I have an Art History background, and my enthusiasm for art continues to grow with each new experience. I spend a great deal of my time reading about and viewing art. I find it to be a field that is endless in its scope and magnitude, always evolving.
I attended college in my youth, but never found an avocation I truly enjoyed until I reached my adult life. I find great enjoyment in art and I hope to share my joys and (sometimes) disappointments with you, my BellaOnline reader.
I am the Associate Director of an art gallery on the seacoast of N.H.
Unrelated to art is another important part of my life, my work with Breast Cancer. I was on the Board of Directors for Breastcancerstories.org and I am a volunteer for the American Cancer Society´s "Look Good, Feel Better" program where women going through chemotherapy are given a gift of cosmetics and instructed on how to use the products.
I encourage you to keep an open mind, read my articles, subscribe to my newsletter, but most importantly, use your own good judgement on deciding what is good art and what isn´t.
And as one writer I most admired, John Updike, I always begin writing with a sharpened pencil.
Let´s take this journey of enrichment together. Are you ready?
