I attended college in my youth, but never found an avocation I truly enjoyed until I reached my adult life. I find great enjoyment in art and I hope to share my joys and (sometimes) disappointments with you, my BellaOnline reader.
I am the Associate Director of an art gallery on the seacoast of N.H.
Unrelated to art is another important part of my life, my work with Breast Cancer. I am on the Board of Breastcancerstories.com, a non-profit site where men and women going through the breast cancer experience can share information and photos with their friends, family, and others they may not know.
Also, I am a volunteer for the American Cancer Societyīs "Look Good, Feel Better" program where women going through chemotherapy are given a gift of cosmetics and they are instructed on how to use the products.
I encourage you to keep an open mind, read my articles, subscribe to my newsletter, but most importantly, use your own good judgement on deciding what is good art and what isnīt.
And as one writer I most admire, John Updike, I always begin writing with a sharpened pencil.
Letīs take this journey of enrichment together. Are you ready?
