About the BellaOnline Atheist / Agnostic Editor

Daniel has spent the past 35 years actively pursuing and studying politics, religion, and philosophy. He has held virtually every lay position in the Episcopal Church. He was in a Bible study for ten years and led one for three. He entered the formal process of discernment for the priesthood, and fully intended to take Holy Orders in the Episcopal Church at the end of that process, but his discernment process did not proceed as planned and he left his church and religion behind around 2008. He is just now becoming comfortable with the label “agnostic.”

Daniel has seen his work published in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, The Tampa Tribune, Haypenny.com, and Kittenpants.com. He is a partner at Denouement Literary Agency and active in Writers 4 All Seasons, a critique group. He taught the SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT curricula for Kaplan Test Prep, and served as editor for a political party´s website and newsletter.

He received his MA in Human Resource Development from the George Washington University and his BA in Psychology from George Mason University. He made the decision to concentrate on his writing in 2013. He makes his home in central Florida with his wife and best friend, Becky.

He says: "I am aware of my limitations, and I work to make allowances for them!! I have a decidedly academic and philosophical approach to life and non-theism, and my articles will likely reflect that. However, my forum discussions will be less formal and, therefore, more approachable to many. I promise that, while I really am kind of stuffy and, perhaps, a bit arrogant in real life, I´m also fun and silly and friendly, and I want to make this site informative, enjoyable, and useful to you."
