Sue Moore has worked in public library systems both in Canada and the UK for more than 20 years and spent part of this time working in fine arts and music.

In direct contrast with the uptight stereotypes sometimes associated with library work, Sue often surprises people with her knowledge and love for many diverse kinds of music – including punk and alternative – but the blues especially has long held a special fascination. Going out to hear music played live is unlike anything else and ranks as one of her favourite things to do.

As well as her library work, Sue is also a successful freelance writer. Her fiction and non-fiction have been published in Canada and the US and she has won two short story contests. She is currently at work on a young adult novel.

Although working with John Cusack in his High Fidelity record store would be Sue´s ultimate dream job, writing about music is a close second.

Sue lives in Canada with her two teenage sons and a fluctuating population of cats and dogs.
