Lisa Russell has six daughters and began writing online for income in 1999. Since then, Lisa and her husband have moved 1200 miles from Sunny Southern California to Washington State, currently living in Yakima and plotting to move to the San Juan Islands.

As a homeschooling mother, living on one income and determined to have a beautiful home, Lisa has several artsy tricks up her sleeve for decorating a home on a tight budget.

She enjoys lush house plants, books and recreating decorator looks for a fraction of the cost. She is shamelessly addicted to second hand stores, estate sales and yard sales and secretly thinks that paying full price is worse than wearing mismatched socks.
