I am a fifty something, white haired, freelance writer. I specialize in writing "white papers", travel and wine articles. I have lived in Colorado since May 1969. I enjoy the finer things in life like the Beatles, Harry Chapin, Faith Hill, Dixie Chicks, BB King, Grand Cayman, California sunsets and a bucket of steamers with an ice cold microbrew beer. A beautiful end to a perfect day would be a quiet evening dinner, with my beautiful spouse of 35 years, enjoying the latest bottle of Cabernet that I have found.

So when did I start my travels? I have been travelling since January 1968. I´ve travelled by bus, train, air and several cruises including barefoot. I car camped from New England all the way to Colorado. And in Colorado I did a lot of backpacking and camping.

I have driven by car from Colorado to El Paso Texas, down through Chihuahua and on to Durango Mexico, from Durango Mexico I drove across the Devil´s Backbone to Mazatlan. After spending a week in Mazatlan drove up the coast and inland to Nogales and back to Colorado.

I have travelled "rich" and I have travelled "cheap" and each has their pluses and minuses. I like them both.
